It was JDM and Euro only, so that's probably why you haven't heard about it.
I saw it on here like 2 years ago, and I so badly wish I could own one. Shame it's on a Del Sol...

I had totally forgotten about it until the new Targa was revealed. I don't remember it being offered in the US. Maybe it ws and no one wanted to pay for the option?
I wonder how many of them still work?

From what I read it wasn't an option in North America for some reason or another.

the North American Market had a Targa Top but it was manual you took the roof panel off and stuck it in the trunk. Only the JDM/Euro had the power retractable Targa Top

I knew about the targa top; it is what made a Del Sol a Del Sol. The power targe is what is new to me.

I had no idea this existed until the 911 targa was shown and someone posted this.
I love it! This is when Honda had cajones.
